The sound level meter is a sound meter with an adjustable measuring range of 30 … 130 dB. The measured values ​​are displayed on the sound level meter as a normal numerical value and also graphically in the measuring range set by the user. A special feature of the sound level meter is the measurement function LEQ (equivalent continuous sound level) in addition to the normal sound measurement. This measurement function is a globally recognized measure of the average sound exposure, taking into account the duration, frequency and intensity of the individual sound events.

In addition to sound measurement, the sound level meter can also be connected to a process interface. The sound level meter generates a linear voltage signal of up to 2.5V. With the tripod mount on the back of the sound level meter can be optimally positioned the application. Thanks to the 9V interface, the sound level meter can be permanently operated stationary.
