Multi Channel Data Logger

PCE-KD3-WGH is an eight-channel data logger or display recorder designed to record analog measurements of 4 … 20 mA sensors or RTD (PT100, PT500 and PT1000) temperature sensors. In addition, PCE-KD3-WGH is a multichannel universal indicator that visualizes readings graphically on its LCD screen. PCE-KD3-WGH can be mounted on a wall via its IP65-protected housing. The memory of the data logger holds around 2 million records. The measured values can be downloaded to a USB stick via the integrated USB port. Using this same USB interface, configuration data can also be loaded into the data logger.

Application of the multi-channel data logger is widely popular in different spheres: gas and chemical industry, heavy industries, oil refining, production processes, ecological researches, etc. An advantageous feature about this data logger is its ability to collect the data from different devices (channels). The big amounts of data received by the data logger are stored and will not be lost until the user deletes it. The multi-channel data logger may “cooperate” with a few devices simultaneously, and absolutely all the information that has been registered, may be reflected on the display and processed in detail later. Even though, the connection may be established with a few channels, they do not affect each other and are isolated, though, if necessary, the combined measurements of a few parameters may also be carried out. The user may read out the result of the measurements immediately, or if the presence near the data logger is not possible, the data may be transferred to the PC screen. All the data received from different sensors can be displayed as tables, graphs, so that to better present the registered values. The operator may, thus, see the range of fluctuations and deviations from the limits in each particular channel, which facilitates the data analysis. In the multi-channel data logger, there is a function of notification about significant deviation from the norm, and the operator responsible for the operation gets a warning. The information contained in the data logger can be organized in groups and files and systemized for better viewing and processing.

On demand, the time period and duration of the measurements may be selected and set by the operator, which gives an opportunity to carry out regular monitoring with a subsequent report after each time period.

The multi-channel data logger has a relatively compact size, but from the other side, possess a possibility of collecting an expanded range of the data.
