With the PCE-LCT 1-ICA clamp on tester, it is possible to measure leakage currents in the range of up to 100A. Leakage occurs when a current flows through an electrical conductor that is not normally designed to conduct electricity. The PCE-LCT 1-ICA clamp on tester captures these currents and displays them on the display. For example, the PCE-LCT 1-ICA can be used to detect insulation faults. This is particularly advantageous where machines are operated that can not or must not be switched off and in which an examination of the insulation is pending. The fact that not only leakage currents can be measured with the leakage current clamp, but also the normal current flow, voltage up to 400V, resistance and passage, the leakage current clamp is ideal for the electrician, who has to perform other measuring tasks in addition to the device tests. Thanks to its compact design, the PCE-LCT 1-ICA leakage current clamp fits into any pocket. The robust rubber protection protects the measuring device against small drops from low heights and makes the leakage current clamp a reliable companion especially in the field of electrical inspection and workshop technology.
