Material thickness meter for various materials, such as metals, glass, homogeneous plastics …, (with external probe for temperatures up to 400°C / 752°F) (displays in mm only)
The material thickness meter PCE-TG 110 is a thickness gauge with external high-temperature probe for ferrous and non-ferrous metals etc. The PCE-TG 110 is an ideal material thickness meter for water pipes, steam pipes and pipes for chemicals. Too thin wall thickness of a pressure line involves a high risk for employees, and this can be prevented with the thickness meter. If the wall thickness is too thin, the bursting pressure drops considerably. The material thickness meter PCE-TG110 is a thickness gauge for various materials, such as metals, glass, homogeneous plastics. The material thickness meter is preset with five sound speeds (in memory) for different material.
With the material thickness meter, you can determine the material thicknesses of metal, glass, plastics and other homogeneous materials in seconds. The speed of sound can be freely adjusted on the material thickness meter and thus adapted to a wide variety of materials. The ultrasonic probe of the material thickness meter has a measuring head that can be used at surface temperatures of up to 400°C / 752°F. The measuring head is special coated to ensure maximum protection against skin burns. The material thickness meter is delivered calibrated. As an accessory, you can order an ISO laboratory calibration including certificate.
